John Beck aka Mystallo is a combo of DC's Metallo and Marvel's Mysterio. He first appeared in Spider-Boy #2. He was a magician that used kryptonite to create illusions. He was outraged when he was fired, and worked for Lex Osborn as his enforcer. When John, under the code-name Mystallo, got hit by a truck, he got cyborg parts added to himself by Otto Octavius. He was a cyborg with kryptonite powers, meaning he could take on Spider-Boy and Super Soldier easily.
