Absolute DC

Absolute DC is an imprint of DC Comics, the canon of which is centered around a universe deviated from the main universe of DC Comics, where the genesis of superheroes began in the early 2000s. Absolute DC is often equated with the Ultimate Marvel imprint of Marvel Comics. Author Roderick Daniel envisioned Absolute DC while imagining major disasters that happened in recent history prevented or neutralized by DC superheroes, starting with Superman preventing the September 11^th, 2001 terrorist attacks, and expanded the universe and story arcs from there.
